For me, photography is not just the result, but the process itself: prepare the camera, wander around the streets, observe with attentive eyes, wait for the right moment, the right scene (fishing). It's a constant process of framing fragmented pieces of reality, in a certain way, it's like transforming the chaos into order, or, one possible order. It's like composing with the chaos.
Besides a form of art, for me, photography is also therapy, a magic tool capable of freezing moments in space-time. This book collects my best street photography works from São Paulo (BRZ), Prague (CZ), and Berlin (GER). I invite you to see what I had seen, walk where I walked, and see with my eyes, even just for just a few minutes. If you like street photography, architecture, and abandoned places, this book is for you.

About the author
An artist that literally transits between worlds, that live and produces across different media and art fields. Photographer, author, street artist, speaker, ux designer, musician, visual artist - those are few terrains where the author can demonstrate his skills and produce interesting works.
As a street photographer, he registered thousands of images of São Paulo, metropolis where he lived for fourteen years. The author participated in the publication of the book "Windows of São Paulo" (Janelas de São Paulo) with Nara Rosetto, this book collects drawings of the city's windows and poems from other artists.
Dedicating a great amount of his existence to traveling, exploring other countries and continents, he captured stunning images from several places like Argentina, Brasil, Uruguai, Australia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, and many others, mostly focusing on street photography and abandoned places (urbex). Besides photography, Odair also works professionally as a user experience designer and post-rock musician. Always curious about the Mind, he is an avid reader of Jungian psychology and philosophy.
